Alone, we can do so little; Together, we can do so much.
- Helen Keller
Hope & Harbor was founded with the conviction that our greatest healing stories always happen in community. Moved by this conviction, I am passionate about building deep, honest, reciprocal partnerships with pastors, ministry leaders, service providers, and civic leadership who share a passion for the hurting. While collaborative relationships can take many forms, my dedication to listening and building bridges between partners lies at the heart of everything I do.
I ♥ WORKING ALONGSIDE PASTORS + MINISTRY LEADERS.
Rather than just being a counselor on a referral list, I work hand-in-hand with your church to understand your core values, culture, staff, and congregation. By counseling in partnership with your pastoral team I am able to care for the needs of your people in the context of a safe, loving Christian community.
I ♥ WORKING ALONGSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS.
Over the years, I've worked with service providers in Los Angeles and Portland that care for diverse populations of houseless youth, survivors of sex trafficking, foster families, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I've been able to help service providers struggling with secondary trauma, leadership issues, and program development gaps. Whatever context or challenges you're facing, I'd love the opportunity to discover ways that I can partner alongside your team and help you flourish!
I ♥ WORKING ALONGSIDE CIVIC LEADERS.
My passion to for building healing partnerships in cities has grown as I've had the privilege to serve on a number of committees and link hands with civic leaders over the last two decades. Here's a brief snapshot of my past and present civic affiliations:
Multnomah County Sex Trafficking Collaborative
Portland-Metro Anti-Trafficking Task Force
Los Angeles County Hunger & Homeless Coalition
